Gabriel Severn

The internet first awoke to bass prodigy Gabriel Severn in a viral video of the 11-year-old mastering the Weather Report tune, “Havona.” His current trio, Teen Town, has opened for headlining stars at jazz festivals, and racked up a couple of DownBeat awards. Recently, Gabe collaborated with Austrian jazz fusion band Kernfusion while in Vienna for the Joe Zawinul Foundation for Achievement Z Awards.

Phil

A Vienna-based band formed in 2019, Phil breaks with convention. Phil Woloch, lead singer; Alex Riepl, drums; Rich Messner, bass; Emanuele Fusaro, guitar; and Killan Seibl, keyboard experiment with modern Pop-zeitgeist and a musical-atmospheric mix of spherical soundscapes that blend to create a multifaceted signature sound. Philip Woloch is a 2014 Z Award winner with the Joe Zawinul Foundation for Achievement as well as a first prizewinner Podium Jazz/Pop/Rock competition.

Kernfusion
Jazz / Fusion Band – Austria
Kernfusion formed in 2017, and never looked back. The four young musicians play their own arrangements of tunes by legends, such as Chick Corea and John Scofield, while also composing original songs. Only a year after forming, Kernfusion was named the 2018 Joe Zawinul Award. They made their international debut at the Bratislava Jazz Days 2019.
